Change Web Panels Zoom
-
It's been so many years and requsted by so many users. I don't understand why this is still not implemented.
-
@wuzhe With 5,453 feature requests, and a small team, those needed by few users or difficult to implement may have to wait for a long time. Wherever you see that a feature is tagged as In Progress, it may get done this year rather than next.

Please vivaldi team I hope you can read this comment but I think that at this point where vivaldi becomes increasingly known and the use of web panels are essential it would be an excellent option to be able to add a button to gradually zoom in on each web panel to power adjust it and graduate it to taste , this would be fascinating , I hope you can take my suggestion and do it in some next update

Hi. I'm very much interested in changing the zoom settings but the tutorials of how to modify vivaldi seem old. Are they still valid? I can't find the folders in appearance section. Or browser.html file. Any video or picture material would be awesome. I'm using Mac by the way.

@Maangustass Off-topic here. I believe there is a method using CSS. Search, then ask in the Modding Vivaldi forum.

I have this in my book and am currently working on it. It should arrive in a snapshot soon.

Available since Snapshot 5.4.2707.2

@Alacho Could you explain what you have implemented?
Under Appearance I can change the Zoom for the menu.
On the main page I can zoom and unzoom on the bottom right. For the webpanel nothing has changed for me. I do not know how to zoom in and out.
I am using 5.4.2712.3 (Official Build) (64-bit).\
My Command line param contain different profiles and stand alone.
G:\Prgs\PortableApps\vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe" --user-data-dir="g:\VivAdm" --profile-directory="G06 Dorgan" --disk-cache-dir="c:\ViVGcache" --flag-switches-begin --flag-switches-end --vivaldi-standalone --save-page-as-mhtml
-
Same when using default profile for stand alone version.

In the image you see the webpanel not zooming, while the main page has zoomed in.

Right click on the webpanel's header, select Toolbar / Display Zoom Controls.
