... To that end, on the affected sites/applications, I can also ignore the initial right-click context menu and right-click the misspelled word again and the word is highlighted and can be corrected. So, right-clicking the incorrect word twice allows it to be corrected from the menu.

I originally had Vivaldi blocking my third-party cookies, and I also had extensions (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and Cookie AutoDelete). I realized that my extensions were already customized to block the cookies I don't want and then they would auto delete them. After I disabled Block Third-Party Cookies from Vivaldi, my Gmail worked again as normal. Hope this helps someone else out there.
@hadden89 Currently testing this, but thanks anyway. It's somewhat annoying in that it takes a long time to test any tweaks related to this reliably, possibly even days 😞
But I did have "Always load pinned tabs" enabled and I have the Gmail tabs pinned.
No warries mate, it was only to let you know about that addon (indeed I was using too in the past). And sorry if my post seems aggresive. It wasn't my intention... I was come back home from dentist... please understand 😃
