I found out on their reddit thread that this ca be configured. Ironically the flag to hide the tooltip is inverted for me, I told them that.

I had installed the Darkreader until yesterday, but I also uninstalled it yesterday. I had just deleted the browser data, including the storage of extensions. After that I restarted Vivaldi and the web panels are no longer black 😎

Google Docs Offline extension breaks Vivaldi. To be fair, according to the recent reviews, that extension is garbage.

I have now sorted the issue (seems like it was an extension I was using, which I have now deleted).

Total Synergy are pretty good. They usually reply to me within half an hour and will try to sort things, and escalate to their development team if they can't help, and they welcome suggestions as well. 🙂

@luetage It was installed as an extension. I got rid of it by uninstalling the extension.

@Gwen-Dragon and @Pathduck , I'm so sorry to bother you for nothing. I found an extension - syncmarx - that is responsible of it. It syncs my bookmarks across other browsers and overrides the nicknames as it's not supported!

@nucerl , do not use VPN extensions, they are not efficient and also the free ones usually collect your data.
An extension VPN can only open a private tunnel after your browser has connected to the network, thus exposing your IP as well.
To avoid this, the VPN must create the private tunnel before you open the browser, that is, from the OS.
If you want free VPN, I only know 2 reliable free ones, Proton VPN. (has no data volume limit) and Windscribe (10 Gb / month), but both are limited in number of servers in their free versions.

(these are the sites that the Hubspot extension has acces to)

And I've disabled "block third party cookies".
