Vivaldi shows white screen unless I open in a Private Window.

I am on Linux (Pop!_OS 20.04). Everything worked fine at first but now (after some OS updates) the browser displays a full white window. No toolbars...nothing. If I open a Private Window, everything works there. If I open a new window {not Private), even as I have a working private window open, it shows an unresponsive white window.
I also cannot select a category on this forum with Vivaldi. I was forced to make this post with Firefox.

Hi, sometimes the Vivaldi UI does not show up if zombie processes are running after closing Vivaldi. If there any, kill them.Cheers, mib

The problem persisted after several reboots. I am troubleshooting extensions now and I was able to get it to work again but have not figured out who the culprit is. I removed the LastPass, SessionBox, and Googgle Docs Offline extensions and now it works. I reinstalled SessionBox and so far so good. I'll reinstall LastPass in a few hours, and Offline a few hours after that. If one of them breaks it again, I will report back.

Google Docs Offline extension breaks Vivaldi. To be fair, according to the recent reviews, that extension is garbage.
