@LonM Thanks for posting some more requests for me to vote on
I appologize for the off topic. The only posts I could see in the current page of this thread were talking about auto reloading so I went along with it. Didn't pay enough attention to the title or notice that there was already another page full of posts about a different subject. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

This is the Best RSS Reader that I know of:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/feedbro/mefgmmbdailogpfhfblcnnjfmnpnmdfa
I have subscribed with him 450 Feeds, of course, by Vivaldi, but also Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and some news sites.

@luetage As mentioned by @pauloaguia, it would take a setting for each web panel and choose the function of the needs.
-
C'mon. Have a little more patience.

Personally I would not switch out M3 for any other mailer, including M2
Jon, being an Opera fan for more than a decade, I do remember well how demanding you were at M2 overhaul, and for all good reasons. Even now its faster, more robust, feature rich and convenient than any other mail client I tried, including the modern ones.
I'd still use M2 today if it supported 2-step Gmail Authentication, and could work through VPN, which is mandatory feature in this age, as many people spend days out with their laptops, and frequently check multiple email accs at libraries and public WiFi Hotspots.

It's probably rather early to be making requests like this, but it would be nice if when I'm in a mail view I could press a key combo and type the folder I want to move something to. Kind of like how in Quick Commands I can type "Page Zoom 20"...
It would be far easier to press F2 > type "move mon" and have the current selected mail be moved into the first folder whose name starts with "mon" than have to click a mail, and then do that annoying drag-and-scroll to drop it into where it needs to be.
I know other clients can let you assign shortcuts to move to a folder, but having to maintain & remember that for every single folder is a right pain.
Just dropping the idea here for now.

It's a bit independent of the subject, but everyone says M2 is the best email client (at least for now). Where can it be downloaded?
-
@bimlas It's inbuilt into Opera, just download the last version before they switched to chromium.
-
@luetage Thanks, it works fine!
For anyone else interested in trying out:
- The latest version of Opera12 (if I'm right) can be downloaded from https://ftp.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/win/1218/en/
- To use the mailer, go to menu -> Mail and Chat Accounts
-
@bimlas There are also a number of advanced settings you can set, which in effect turn the O12 browser into essentially a pure mail client (by hiding and disabling most browser functions and UI elements). That's what I've done with mine.
-
@Ayespy Thank for the tip! It's not nice to talk about a "competing" mail client here, so I put my questions in a private message if you don't mind.

How sad Linux (and Mac too) has only 12.16…

@potmeklecbohdan I think the .18 update was for some windows specific security bugs.
-
@LonM Then everything is OK. Thanks for letting me know.
-
For Windows and Mac I’d recommend instead the stand-alone Opera Mail client.
Like I mentioned before, it’s fully functional and I’d argue safer than the Opera Classic suite.
-
@bimlas I don't mind. That said, Jon built Opera 12, and is building the mail client for Vivaldi. I think he kind of expects to compete with his earlier product, to win converts..

I wish I'd say the same
Still using M2 while waiting M3 is been polishing... -
I think more than in the web panel, there should be a direct access, or even SpeedDial to a reader itself, similar to Feedly, with the possibility of having "widgets" incorporated into SpeedDial
-
@brianerc Try this feedreader: Feedbro:
