Yes, that is exactly the issue. I would like to be able to close my current tab without needing to click the tabs button, choose the group and close the original tab. Or scroll the tab bar looking for my current tab and close it.

I would like to always be able to close my current tab with one click!

I totally agree with you. As a workaround, the back button seems to close the panel as well. In my phone the back button shows up right under where the panel toggle button was so that's not as much finger moving hopefully...

This also happens to me, I also use the dark theme/mode. If you switch to the light theme (for the browser, not the webpages), you will see that it initially switched to red (the Vivaldi default) and then to whatever the page theme is. In the dark theme, it switches to white (presumable the Vivaldi "default" on dark themes) and then switches to the page's colouring which is not used under the dark theme, so it's always black. This results in a "flashing" effect.

I use DeepL a lot for my translation work and actually love the outcome most of the times. Needs a lot less editing than google translator, for instance, at least for the language pairs I use it with.

Today I noticed that translation has already arrived to mobile so I decided to, instead of translating the whole page, select just some text I needed and see if I could translate just that (very useful for foruns, where the page may be in a language you understand but the content in some other language). To my surprise I was given an option to Translate in the context menu, after selecting the text. However, when I clicked it, I was asked if I prefered to translate using Chrome or Translator app.

Now that Vivaldi has its own Translation service, I'd very much like to translate it inline and using Vivaldi, please 🙂

Sorry, bisschen spät meine Antwort. Es geht auch nicht um Links. Es geht um die auswählen eines Wortes oder Satzes und dann drauf gedrückt halten und im Kontextmenü "Websuche" auswählen.

Sorry, a bit late my answer. It's not about links either. It's about selecting a word or phrase and then holding down on it and selecting "Web Search" from the context menu.
