@nemyayx I can confirm too. It's doesnt block any autoplay from videos on youtube for example. Tried on my Fedora 38 and Windows 10 using Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22 (Stable channel) stable (64 bits)

Sure I would love to see theming, ability to add sites to the panel, really would love extensions if Apple allows it, ability to relocate buttons and the address bar etc
Did you check if it works in Chrome? I tested it in Chrome 113.0.5672.132 on Android 9, and I couldn't move the slider (or even click on it to jump to another part of the video). It looks more like a task for the upstream Chromium team or YouTube (since it works on other websites, for example, Vimeo). They might've overlooked this, as using a mouse with mobile devices is uncommon. 😅
Couple of months back I've switched to Android gesture navigation, but from the start missed this long-press back button feature. Bummer to now find out it doesn't work anymore with the regular Android navigation buttons.
The least should be to make it work from the Vivaldi menu back and forward buttons. But ideally also Android navigation button as well as long holding back gesture should work, if the latter is supported by Android in the first place.
Looking forward to some improvement on this!
Yes! Even Safari drops back to a start page with some of my links on it. I was very surprised to see iOS Vivaldi show that "click here to do anything useful" page.
I really hope there will soon be an option to set a "custom start page", like in desktop Vivaldi. All my saved links live on an external server web page accessible from any machine anywhere...
Furthermore, in Android (e.g. on a smartphone), you are not able to drag the scrollbar, because it is too small and has no option to touch and hold a "slider button".
@mib2berlin Yes exactly. And adding a bookmark is not very intuitive, at least when I just want to put it in Speeddial. For this there should be an option to put it directly without adding it globally before.
yes, Opera will be cooler. It shows many sites better than Vivaldi . Without having to go into the settings. But I found a page that she also can't display correctly.
If you haven 't noticed , then read my message again . There is an example, with a picture, where the Text-Wrap function works better in Developer Tools than in Opera Mobile. It cuts a string of any length for any screens. And without any patents. This is from desktop . It is not difficult, and for free, to transfer this from Chromium Windows to Chromium Android. Chromium is still an open project.
I will translate for you a picture from this Russian forum -- this line describes the icon in base64 format. I believe that this is directly related to the Chromium project. Details from the local @Capushon
If this post from the old forum will be displayed Vivaldi correctly, then this feature has been improved. And Opera Mobile will not be able to demand anything. On the contrary, she will pay for the Vivaldi patent herself.
