Youtube not playing videos opened in new tab immediately.

When I open youtube video in new tab, It doesnt play immediately when I switch to that tab. The tab opens and the video is paused by default.

I kind of like it. I often open videos as background tabs and prefer when they don't immediately start playing when the tab is opened.

But apparently this is a known "bug" and will be fixed in an upcoming build.
Oh well, the bliss didn't last

well, if YT will honour the autoplay permission you may still be blessed by block
