I'd love to see the name of the workspace occupying the active window as Window title.

Because now it is the ''tab-title'' that is shown when we use Alt+Tab'ing (or hovering over taskbar)

(It's like an "indirect" way to have window-renaming!)

As many have pointed out in feature request like "Renaming of Window-title:"
When searcing for a window that has your wanted tab inside it is "hard" because the tab-name in no way a "tag" that reveals something about the rest of the tabs inside that window (think like: if your tabs "are random" (ie. DB com + VG .com + FB .com rather than [ DB. com + DB. com +DB. com ].

EDIT: Please consider to also vote here for a very similar suggestion that already exists as I think these are very closely related to each other

          4b9bafd9-e5ec-4c98-af27-b94724b1e806-image.png .

To claryfy: Hovering over pinned Vivaldi program on taskbar:
In the two [Windows] here you see only title of active tab where I'd prefer name of active workspace instead .

A workaround would be to use the code from @MasterLeo29 to change tab color for a specific workspace.

To make it less intrusive in your case I would use the mainbar, so that by using a color representative of the webpage favicon for each workspace, it will be easy to recognize it.

            https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/85585/tab-color-per-workspace

Use my code to change also the menu of workspaces:

I'm not using default panel list.
There is no way how to remove

                Workspace -

If this was added I would be able to do cool automated things. For me I prefix a workspace with a number which corresponds to my OS workspace. With that I could have each window go to the correct monitor based on their workspace which I could detect from the window title.

Also if I was on windows I would just want this feature in general, I'd rather the window title be the workspace than the website.

It is a Cool feature, would be nice to have to quickly switch focus between different areas of work.

I would also really like this option...

I use Linux with Xfce@Wayland/Wayfire and as this not have implemented hotkey to switch between windows of same apps, i writen own bash script for this, but tool (wlrctl) for windows list on Wayland not show unique identifiers (as wmctrl on Xorg), but only app name and window title.

So is not possible switch to next Vivaldi window, if exist more then 1 window with "Blank Page" title, this page i use to use hibernate all other tabs in window...

Workaround is in all Vivaldi windows not open "Blank page", but open some of localhost page (without resources eating), only with different page title name... but ofcourse if Vivaldi show in window title "Blank Page [WorkspaceName] - Vivaldi" be better/cleaner/real sollution 🙂
