External Links Not Opening
-
Clicking on links from outside of Vivaldi, such as in another app, doesn't do anything. The only way I've managed to get this to work as it should was opening a link in a Discord message, but only when Discord was run as administrator. Otherwise, links from it don't open. I have PDFs set to open in Vivaldi and clicking on them in my Downloads causes my mouse to spin for a second and nothing to happen or open. As far as I know, this is fully preventing my ability to open PDFs in Vivaldi. Is this a bug or is there some security setting I need to turn off?

Hi,
Welcome to Vivaldi's Forums!Something similar happens on my system.
It opens external if it's closed
Any link is opened thenIf V is loaded, then nothing.
Try that way.
Close it and launch from another app.On my side it's a Standalone install with custom Profiles independent instead of the default Profile Manager.

I'm having the same problem while trying to login into Notion(Windows App) with the "Continue with Google" option or any other external link. Also had the same problem trying to login in some games. I can only open the links if i set another browser as my Default browser on Windows 11. I open a lot of external link during the day and this is making me want to switch to another browser.
