Managing Bookmarks

Any tips for managing Bookmarks?
I need to use many for work and the manager that Vivaldi brings is good, but it still doesn't suit me ...For example, features that would help me:
Tags
I use binders to organize them, but labels would help too.Directory tree / drag and drop
That the folder tree allows opening them in a panel on the right, so that it allows dragging bookmarks between the folder tree and the panel, to better organize the bookmarks visually.Order
That they can be ordered as you want, not just by name or url.Duplicates
That you can detect duplicates and choose whether to keep them or not.Quick access
That the thumbnails in the quick access have more practical options, such as zooming in or out or choosing a part of the screen as a thumbnail. (There are even capture images that Vivaldi does not load, in WordPress covers that have a background image for example)Quick add
Also the bookmark tree that opens in the address bar quick add, I find it a bit confusing to distinguish folders and subfolders. The search works but sometimes I don't remember the name of the folders, and if I saw them categorized it would be clearer.Well, they are characteristics that occur to me now ... I repeat,
For "normal" use, Vivaldi's Bookmarks management is good and sufficient, but for me that I work a lot with the browser and use bookmarks a lot, I need to manage them better.I have looked for extensions but I did not choose any and that is why I appeal to the forum, maybe someone knows how to advise me or find settings in Vivaldi that I don't.
I love its quick access in terms of choosing which folders to open there, the same I like its bookmarks bar, but the management (to reorder them when there are many) is difficult for me.
Beyond this, I love Vivaldi, it is by far the best browser for me.
Thank you!!

@Ro64 I suspect that all of these have been requested before. Search for them and vote or comment.
- Tags Add Searchable Tags for Bookmarks
- Order Sort Manually in the Panel or the Bookmark Bar
- Duplicates Use an extension to find them. Duplicate Bookmark Detection / Cleanup
- Quick access Auto-detect Logos + Search Part of the Page for Speed Dial and Bookmark Thumbnails
- Quick add Start typing a folder name to quickly locate it without opening the folder tree. Coloured Bookmark Folders • Create New Folder When Bookmarking Page
- Drag and Drop Works for folders in the Bookmarks Panel, not only for bookmarks. Manual sort order should be on.

@Pesala Thanks a lot! I will investigate each suggestion these days, thank you for your time.

Hi,
Apart from the already mentioned, to Delete Bookmarks Duplicates you can use some Extensions:
- Bookmarks clean up [Duplicates]
- SuperSorter [Reorder Folders]
SuperSorter
can be buggy deleting Dups
use it just to move the Folders to the Top.Before any modification, Export the Bookmarks or create a copy of Bookmarks file at Vivaldi Profile.

Seems nice
Similar to that, you would also like StartMe.

Those sites are nice as an additional info being that the OP seems more focused on Default Vivaldi's BKs Manager. -
@Ro64 I know EXACTLY what you want to do and what you are trying to accomplish. And I have done it! It's very simple.
I use a standard directory tree system, with drag and drop. I order the folders alphabetically; for me, its just easier that way. The system is designed for quick access and entry - everything you need is instantly at your fingertips. At eye-level.
Take a look at the screenshot of my browser below. You can see my bookmarks on the left side - but more importantly, my Speed Dial, horizontally, across the top. That will help you. I am not that computer literate, so I may not use the correct Vivaldi terms.
First, set up your folders. One topic per folder. Use short names/labels (which you can always rename) because you want them to fit on your screen.
As you can see, I have about 17 folders. I am in the commodities business so Bullion refers to gold bullion (keeping the name short). The last folder X-Keys is my invention - it holds my frequently used 12 websites. So I don't have to rummage thru 17 folders to access my favorite websites that I open multiple times a day - like Whatsapp or CNN news! I am always clicking on X-Keys!
Next, within each folder, set up your sub-folders (and sub-sub-folders as need be) and, finally, add your saved websites. All of this, of course is "drag and drop". All names are easily re-nameable.
Finally, then just place the 17 folders on Speed Dial, horizontally across your browser under the URL field. It takes up a few centimetres of real estate on your computer screen, and the ability to have everything in front of you AT EYE LEVEL, at your fingertips, far outweighs any loss of screen space.
And you are done!
Now, everything is very organized and in easy reach. Its all drop-down. So if I read an interesting article on gold bullion storage, I open my Bullion drop-down menu, go to my "Warehousing" folder, and hit add Active Tab to save the website. I can then re-name the website, drag and drop it anywhere in the main folder, if I choose.
Hope this assists you.
I love Vivaldi too. I have been using it forever, since dinosaurs gave up the earth!
Enjoy, with my best wishes
Robert
