Toggle Floating/non-floating Panels with a Shortcut
-
Now that the floating web panels are here (and awesome), it would be even cooler, if we could switch between the two modes (floating, non-floating) with a keyboard shortcut.
//MODEDIT: I'm marking this as "Done". To set the shortcut, go to
vivaldi://settings/keyboard/
> Keyboard shortcuts > View > Toggle Floating Panel -
@marek-gontarczyk I completely agree. I'd love to be able to set this on a per panel level, too.

@dannyromano said in Floating panel switch on panel's toolbar:
OP, I just found the feature you're looking for. It's already implemented. If you hold ALT while clicking the "Hide Panel" button in the status bar (bottom), it toggles floating panels on and off.

@pesala OP wants a keyboard shortcut, not a button.

It's already there, at least in 2.1 snapshot.
Settings/Keyboard/View/Toggle Floating Panel, set a key, done -
@ian-coog Available on Stable too.

@hlehyaric good to know thanks. I only keep the very latest version, no point in not having always the latest Vivaldi for me

Great to know, thanks a lot!
