Window begins to lag when YouTube open for too long
-
Hi,
I'm having a problem using Vivaldi.
I like to have three windows open at a time, one purely for media playback on my second monitor, one for social media, and one for general browsing. The problem is this: after a random amount of time, but usually less than two hours, of having YouTube open in a tab in the playback window, the entire window begins to lag (both video playback and interaction with page elements). No other windows are affected.
My current workaround is that when this happens, I close the playback window, go to one of the other windows, open the Panel, navigate to the Window panel tab, and double-click on the YouTube tab I just closed. It opens in a new window, I drag that window back into place, and it displays just fine for another random amount of time.
I've looked at Windows Task Manager and I don't think the cause is any external program or resource limitations, and I've also looked at the Vivaldi Task Manager but unfortunately couldn't glean any useful information from it. I'm open to any suggestions to fix this on my own if possible, but I've tried a lot of things, including disabling all my extensions, so I think this might be a bug.
