"Save Open Tabs as Session" menu item does not list prior saved sessions. If you cannot see prior saved sessions, for me, this feature is useless. I have been waiting for this feature. I use Firefox and Session Manager and saving and accessing, and updating by writing over is very easy. Vivaldi needs this.

Yes! I agree with this suggestion.
Vivaldi does a fantastic job of automatically saving all the tabs in my Vivaldi window, which is the main reason I started using Vivaldi. It would be helpful if it was easier to over write an existing saved session.
In addition, sometimes I want to have a 2nd Vivaldi window for another group of tabs that are related and I want to keep separate.
From an open Vivaldi window I suggest the ability to add a button or link to all the saved sessions which will open the saved session in a separate window.
Then when you close any/each window those tabs are saved to that session. -

@tusivuxi It would be much better to implement the feature request so that no one needs to ask how to overwrite an existing session.
It is not too hard to do, but it wastes a lot of unnecessary steps.
- Open Saved Session
- Delete Old Session
- Cancel
- Save current session
- Type the name again.
