Thanks, I'm on Pop OS 22.04 / Gnome / Wayland / Intel integrated GPU.

I will wait a couple of days to see if there is any movement on the Chromium issue, if not I will probably need to change to a newer distro like Ubuntu 24.04, this is the second usage breaking issue that I have with Vivaldi and Pop OS that there is no fix yet.

@greatkingrat Really strange that your tcpflow output shows a HTTP connection to the site.

All I'm seeing with tshark are TCP handshake packets to port 80, i.e. SYN/ACK packets.

These will be sent in any case, no matter the port and so do not matter for security/privacy. However if the browser sends an actual HTTP request that's different to just a TCP handshake.

@Edu4, not with the right click, but maybe the filters in the Page actions menu (alt text ) can help.

@leandrojmp I see, well I wish you good luck, maybe the new Pop_OS with the new Cosmic desktop will have it fixed for you (or you'll find a way to enforce PiP on top in the meantime).
