Solved Sync Workspaces
-
Nooo... I uninstalled ALL the browsers including Edge when I found Vivaldi, because I just assumed workspaces would be synced. They are not! Daaamn IΒ΄m at a loss now ... I would gladly pay a little to see this happen!
How is it even possible that workspaces sync is NOT a feature of Vivaldi??? I canΒ΄t understand.. Apart from that, I love this browser, but now I had to drop it from 10/ 10 down to 6/10.. -
That is an important Feature. If there is no sync, there is no use for me. Like customizing Menus, no use because no sync. Vivaldi should sync all Features not just some of them. I am sure that is not so complicated. Just let sync optional all Tabs (together with Workspaces).
On Sync Tabs I also can't see my workspaces, just all Tabs in a list. -

Ah, but it most definitely is.

I am trying to ditch Edge but the workspace sync it's incredibly useful.
Please implement this feature in vivaldi too -
Please, please. Pretty please!!!

+1 from me.
Had a computer die on me today, had to reset everything, including the workspaces I had meticulously setup over the last 3 months. Huge pain in the ass, would have been great if there was a way to easily restore it.

+1 from me
I use two laptops to work and its a must to sync workspaces if using them -

+1 This feature absence is pretty upsetting, the idea that everything would sync, workspaces included, was the whole reason I switched. Now I have multiple course-focused workspaces for school on my laptop, and I'm feeling like I've wasted effort organizing it all.

This year, please! jk. it would be a great addition. I use 4 devices for work and being able to sync workspaces would be a huge plus.

Yes, I quit Vivaldi because of this missing feature.
Edge has it, and it's currently my browser of choice when I'm in windows machines. Not my favourite browser by far, but shared workspaces for me is a must-have.
On macOS though, Arc also has beautiful workspace support, which also includes multi-level folders per workspace. It also syncs across machines. The UI takes a while to get used to, but once you do is almost perfect. It's a shame it's macOS only, but the Windows version is on the way.Vivaldi team, please prioritize this. You have a very good browser. Healthy competition on this area was really needed, but now with Arc, Brave and Vivaldi we're seeing new ideas being finally implemented.

Been witing for this and other items
- Workspace sync
- Panel sync
- Block / Allow / Privacy sync
- session sync
- Mouse and Keyboard shortcuts sync
Not all settings are syncable, but if it is stored as yaml or json - it could be easier.

I really need this feature!
-
For me it would be great to have the workspaces synchronized everywhere I use Vivaldi, or if I delete my machine and install Windows or Mac or Linux and search for my workspaces, they would all be there without having to make backups of files or folders. complete. I am a PC technician and I have already discovered that the workspaces and everything in Vivaldi that does not synchronize does so by simply taking the Vivaldi folder that is in its installation location. But it would be more practical and comfortable if instead it were a style like Dropbox or GDrive or OneDrive in which I only have to install the program and with my username and password I am left with the folder working without needing to do anything, just connect to the internet and see how my work spaces emerge one by one and I just sit and watch them arrive while I have a fresh cup of coffee with milk and a cookie. Both things would then be the best thing in this life.

@Zalex108 i do now. Cheers

I'm Looking forward to this feature. Safari has a similar feature call tab groups that I find very useful. If I had it on Vivaldi and could use it on Mobile and Desktop, it would be so much better in comparison.
-
I also strongly back this up! Syncing workspaces could be great between devices or even just when using Vivaldi browser within or outside a VM.
