@An_dz thank you guys for taking a deeper look! bless you so since it has now been identified as a deeper issue can we see about making it it somewhat of a priority I love Vivaldi and amazon is no help they give a scripted response which basically means "we are gods go away"
i suggested once that a outdated Widevine Content Decryption Module might be the cause

@Stagger_Lee I think the problem is that they don't know whether you updated from 1.7 to 1.8 or whether you just installed one of the minor updates (this time they've released two of such updates so far, which is rather unusual).

You have to know that this is a new feature (introduced in 1.8), so it's not quite perfect, but I do agree that it should be improved.

@asianmusicguy They previously said it was affecting the WIndows installer... not Vivaldi itself. If you already have 1.7 installed then there's no point updating.

Got a new Mac Book Pro with the slide (15") but F4 key doesn't open and close notes and download panel.

I'm also still waiting for sound notification from extensions (e.g. Hangouts). I would be nice, if this feature could be implemented in the near future.

too bad you are still only halfway through the mouse gestures, we still need way to configure rockers
and besides that: drag and drop de/attaching tabs to window, opening new tab middle-clicking on tab bar and a lot of stuff unnoticeable until someone takes it from you

Fantastic ! Just discovered Vivaldi, installed and made it my default browser! I've been hanging on to Opera 12.17 for years now but it has been becoming increasingly buggy.
With Vivaldi it's time to say goodbye to 12.17. I'd love to see that old "Log In" button introduced and also an option for when you click on an open Tab in the Tab Bar the page closes and reverts to the last one viewed. Also would love to see an option to scale the size of the bookmarks / add more columns in Speed Dial so that more could be fitted into the screen. Great job so far !

While I do not agree with you, it seems clear that there is request for both of the behaviors, so an option - as zaibon said - would be the best.

UI doesn't adjust color to Whatsapp Web.

Loading pages also doesn't happen sometimes. It look like it does nothing.
