Commenting just out of curiosity, to see in which thread on the forums this comment will appear (as the thread is duplicated on the forums)... (EDIT: fixed already)
THX for the fix, by the way.

@pafflick: sorry about that! Please send me some examples via PM so we can look into it and fix it asap.

Today's update reminds me to ask: after an update runs for the first time, it takes a while for some icons to display (a minute?), such as the ones on the bookmark bar.
What accounts for that lag? It's not a great look, especially for obvious icons like that. Not sure about the ones in bookmarks, etc.

@gaelle: Duplication in the forums is the only thing that makes editing comments in the blog even possible (as there's no edit button in blog) - so, not sure we want to "fix" this.
-
@Ayespy There were two threads at first (my comment landed in the second one BTW) and both had problems with encoding (displaying
–
instead of–
), but both problems are gone already. -
Just fix small problem redirecting after update and restart and opening Changelog update Blog article. Vivaldi doesnt open allways latest Blog article, but some old. Somehow confusing. I believed 2-3 times it is updating to the same version by mistake/bug.

@Stagger_Lee I think the problem is that they don't know whether you updated from 1.7 to 1.8 or whether you just installed one of the minor updates (this time they've released two of such updates so far, which is rather unusual).
You have to know that this is a new feature (introduced in 1.8), so it's not quite perfect, but I do agree that it should be improved.
