Hm, I cant really test this, open 72 tabs and stack some on my mobile.
Don´t use send tabs, this is not working correctly since some time.
After open all from the cloud icon on desktop it open a new window and show all tabs in a few seconds.
I use "Trigger GetUpdate" on mobil/desktop open >

Hi and yes, open a new tab always open the speed dial page, I don´t understand the question at this time.
The startpage setting only set the page at Vivaldi start up.
There is an old feature request from 2020 but nobody vote for it, maybe you create a new one with a better title and description.

Hi, one use report this issue but I cant reproduce it with Stable and Snapshot. A bug is also reported but not confirmed.
The user use address bar at bottom, too.

Just checked, it works in Chrome but not in Vivaldi.
Tested on a Pixel 4a, Android 13.
I am also missing this function very much.

Syncing tabs is not automatic, but a user has the option to open tabs that were opened on another instance of the browser, desktop or mobile.

For instance, I have the option at present to open tabs from SM-5901U, my cell phone. On my cell phone, under "recent tabs," I have the option to open tabs from either of two different synced desktops.

@sgunhouse: Great, now I got it! The trick is not to swipe too far. First it is only a left arrow (which is "go back"), which becomes "Close Vivaldi Browser" once you swipe further.

@jane-n I am actually confused by the rather prominent position of the Download button after pressing the Vivaldi icon. I cannot remember ever having downloaded a webpage. I'd gladly loose that one.

I reanimated my old Umidigi One with Android 8.1 and I can see 15 from 18 tabs on my Android 12 device.
I can only see one device on the desktop installation.
There are two bug reports about tab sync and send to other device, both confirmed.
