      Hello everyone,

Just like with using dark reader in firefox (android) mobile which has ability to follow the overall system/firefox theme.. if we have the ability to similarly set it up in vivaldi mobile, it will help a lot.
So the idea is that I choose 'Follow System' option in theme settings and also enable 'Dark mode for web pages'. Then whenever dark mode is enabled in system the pages are also in dark mode and disabled when system is not in dark mode. We can add an additional setting for this if we don't want to break current functionality.

I'm trying to switch to Vivaldi in both mobile & desktop with the sync enabled and this is something of a simple fix from development maybe?
      Thank you.

@rojer, Agree, It would be great to make the "Dark mode for Web Pages" toggle to follow current browser theme.

Who needs to force the dark mode on websites if browser or system themes are light?

I wish for this feature also, because currently there's not really a point of making vivaldi mobile app to follow the system theme. Before I go sleep I use dark mode, but only the Vivaldi UI changes to dark and the web pages are still in white, so the screen blinds my eyes. If I turn on "dark mode for web pages" in theme settings, all web pages turn to dark as default, so I have to turn on/off dark/white background manually from the menu. I hope for an option that dark mode automatically follow the system theme.

// actually I found the same topic with more votes and upvoted here also.

            hope this feature come soon
