I would like to have “Clear Browsing Data” button on the on the Address bar itself
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/31801/clear-browsing-data-button-on-the-address-bar -
I noticed that navigation keys don't work on the Speed Dial page (set on Startup) again
6.1.3035.111 is affected too
-
@Stardust They work fine here (up, down, left, right cursor). Are you sure that the Start Page has focus (F9)?
You may have to press Tab to shift focus from the Search field if that is displayed.

there is no focus on the 1st launch, it works in the new tab or if you close the 1st Speed Dial tab. IIRC this issue was fixed not a long time ago, but I see it returned again.

as a chronically temporally discombobulated peep, the very last thing that would ever cross my mind would be to be aware that today seems to be friday. prolly all day too, i hypothesise. that's heaps of time for... oh, something or other... at least, that's what my neighbour's pet goldfish walker mumbled.

Is the "Rebuild Mail Search Database" actually working?
I click on the command, but nothing seems to happen (no processor activity, at all) AND the e-mail search DOESN'T find recently sent messages...
Is the search broken, is it the search database, is it the rebuild function, or a mix of these cases?
Can anybody help me? New messages are not found AND search database is not rebuilt...

@newscpq I also have this problem and reported it to the bug tracker. The rebuild function should increase the cpu usage in one core, at least for me it does. In one of my installations it also makes the browser crash after some time. Also submitted a bug with that.
(VB-94453) Mail search does not find some sent emails
(VB-98550) Vivaldi crashes during the "Rebuild Mail Search Database" processThose same sent emails are found on another vivaldi mail instance that synced them through imap.

A [BUG] in Notes Manager?
(HTML) Background does not follow the theme (example: Dark), so text is unreadable. (Text mode, Visual mode is slight grey, barely visible)
-
@npro
Hi, I can confirm, is working in Vivaldi 6.1.3035.204.Cheers, mib
-
@npro Already reported as:
VB-98723 Notes Editor always uses white background -
@Pathduck Just when I was about to click on the "Submit Report" button sigh
-
@npro At least I saved you from a creating a duplicate
-
@Pathduck That would be humiliating, I should have paid more attention https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/680173
Have you ever counted (with an easy way ofc if possible) the amount of them in the tracker since 2013? I bet the number would be staggering
-
@npro Ehm, only about 26k
-
Another one... right click on a default panel (for example, Notes, Translate) and tick
separate width
. Now drag the frame to change its width, watch it denying you -
@npro
Yep, this is really broken for some time, I gave up to resize panels.
I bet developers don´t use panels. -
It's been a while since we got a new snapshot. Does anyone know if the Vivaldi team is taking a much deserved summer break?

@ybjrepnfr Friday came with an update for a Stable build, but it is the holiday season for the Vivaldi Team.
