Built-in Youtube Video Downloader Extension
-
Hi! I've been a Vivaldi user for a while ever since FireFox started giving me a little trouble. Let me get to the point here, I have relied on a YouTube video download extension which I have downloaded freely from the Mozilla add-ons store and it makes a download button appear next to the other buttons in every video. I've already noticed Google is pushing it's YouTube polices onto the Chrome web store and so users won't be able to download existing content. Downloading others' existing content may sound like a bad thing but we don't bluntly copy their content and we at least make changes to it which YouTube does allow indirectly. I've looked through others' posts related to this but I think I have a clear suggestion. Because there is no YouTube video downloader extensions on the Chrome web store, Vivaldi can make a built-in one that allows users to download any content from YouTube and including other websites as well. Considering Brave, Edge, and Opera can't have the same extensions because they are chromium browsers, Vivaldi will have an upper advantage for content-creators. Sure, you can paste a YouTube link in a downloader website and so this idea can be deemed pointless. However, an extension like this can be very convenient for any user who can't easily download videos on the web in general. Vivaldi's got a download feature like every other browser does, but has a camera and other strange features functioning as its own awesome operating system like having mail and and calendar other don't browsers don't have and this adds on to it! Despite requesting for this particular extension, the bigger picture here that I'm sure Vivaldi already knows is that Chrome is going to exert more control over chromium browsers and Brave will be able to protect its users but Vivaldi can do an even better job in providing protection and the same features & extensions we love to have!

@ShriviShine tldr;
Please keep your description to the point and easy to read.
I wonder if Vivaldi might open themselves to legal action by providing such a feature.
I suspect that someone can create a bookmarklet or similar solution to this request.
