This is about size limitation, but what about automatic pip when switching tabs?

I see, thanks for clarifying. Afaik, only webkit-based browsers support this; neither Chrome or Firefox can show their PiP window in a fullscreen app.

While updating to a newer macOS version would be a good thing due to security updates, it's not going to help or fix this.

Just to add, Yandex Browser also has that. Honestly, Yandex's implementation of the pip function is the best I've seen so far

Exactly. I try to take screenshots of the video for notes and it darkens so i cannot use them. It's ridiculous.
