No audio in Vivaldi
-
I have been using Vivaldi almost since its inception and enjoyed the experience however I now find that it intermittently will not play audio on certain sites - eg youtube, soundcloud etc
There is no problem with my audio set up. If I cut and paste the URL from Vivaldi to any other browser - usually FIrefox - the audio plays fine. I am at a loss as to how to fix this and as I am reluctant to abandon Vivaldi I would appreciate any hints as to what I might try to rectify the problem.
I have tried all the usual things such as checking volume is nto muted in either the operating system or in the web page.Vivaldi 5.6.2867.46 (Stable channel) (32-bit)

Hi,
Try to press F2, and write Mute.
Select unMute all tabs / unMute all background Tabs.Check whether fixes it.

@Zalex108 Thanks for replying ...but no made no difference and the speaker symbol to show audio is playing is visible on the tab ie it does not have a line through it.
-
Search Audio in settings, there are 3 options if I remember.
-
@Zalex108 Thanks again but no that does help either - it was set to play audio in all tabs but neither that setting nor play audio in current tab helps.
