Hi all,
I am hopping that someone might be able to help me out here. I am trying to install and set up Vivaldi onUbuntu 22.04 (Codename: jammy)
. However, after I have used the install link and the package has been installed, it will then load up
Ubuntu software
application. This then just sits loading for ages and wont load the application. I am wondering if there is something that I am doing wrong, or if there another approach to this. Thank you for your help in advance.Kind Regards,

@cmccrorie I do not know why your Ubuntu softwareinstaller hangs.
Try in shell a install.
You have already the downloaded deb file.
Start Terminal (shell).
Run command
sudo dpkg -i vivaldi-stable_5.5.2805.38-1_amd64.deb
Does that work?

Hi @DoctorG,
Thank you for your help, running that command has helped and it is now correctly installed.
