Authentication failed.

Hello. I'm a new Vivaldi user. I've set up a Vivaldi.net email. When I log into my browser I consistently get a red '!' with an "Authentication Failed" error. I've tried troubleshooting sync and account issues on my own and haven't found an answer.

In Settings - Mail, when you click on the Vivaldi.net account and then go to the servers tab, does it say "verified" there? Check these settings:

@WildEnte Thank you for the assist. I can confirm that it does not. I was pretty sure I had verified my account but I guess I am wrong. Is there a way to send myself another verification email?

Thanks for the quick response. I created the account then decided to create a more secure password and was able to login successfully so I'm not sure if that maybe related or not. This link is exactly what I needed, however it tells me "Too many mail attempts". Are you by chance able to reset this number so that I can send myself another email attempt?

@AnimaEB I can't, I'm just a user too. Maybe wait for a bit and try again, if you still get that too many mail attempts error, use the "send us a message" button at the end of the help page I linked to above
