Solved can you make bookmarks look like Opera please ?

i'm missing this thing from Opera browser , now i use the addon " visual bookmarks" in vivaldi to make it a bit similar , but i wish it's built in vivaldi like Opera

What do bookmarks look like in Opera? Could you describe what you're missing or show it with some screenshots?

@khopr Golly, I rather hope not. I found Opera's bookmarks implementation to be baroque, overly-complex, inflexible and burdensome. It would be a shame if Vivaldi were to copy it.

Besides, Vivaldi does not copy other browsers. Other browsers copy Vivaldi. Vivaldi comes up with features first, and the other browsers try to come up with their own versions of the features, or just copy them directly. We're the innovators, not the followers.

@ayespy since @khopr speaks of the visual bookmarks addon I assume this is about the thumbnail choice for speeddials, and if this is the case, I agree that Opera does a much better job here. One of the Vivaldi features that are 95% done but need more polish to shine.

@komposten it looks very simple , the bookmarks library panel is on the left , you can drag and drop bookmarks and folders easily , everything has thumbnails , it's very close to the addon "visual bookmarks" but better

plus can you please make an option for "bookmark all tabs" to choose which folder to bookmark the tabs ?

@komposten i just want when i click on the homepage or a new tab or even another button , it opens the bookmarks as a library on the left panel , and in the middle there are folders and links with thumbnails and drag/drop

@wildente oh thanks bro , now i made it looks like what i want , i put all the bookmarks to a folder then put the folder to speed dial and the panel of bookmarks is opened on the left
going now to delete visual bookmarks addon
