@ruarí it looks perfect!
-
@derDay @solidsnake @Ayespy to be sure that my extensions do not interfere, I made a test with clean Vivaldi profile.
Tab still crashes I'm attracting bugs for sure...upd. Here is the video to prove that I'm not joking:

You need to hire some Starship Troopers then...
-
@halleandert: Thanks a lot. Installed.
-
I have another weird glitch for you today.
When I switch between tabs, white dots start to appear slowly.
Looks like memory corruption of something like that.

The buttons are hidden due to the fact that the start time of the download becomes two lines. A limit on the length of the string or on the number of characters that are hard-coded. What for? -

Yes, it is strange.
But your date format is strange too.
Why "13 13 11-2021, 22:04 вечера"?
How 22:04 can be "дня"?
For me, it is just "14.11.2021, 8:06". -
@vort The display format, dates are set in the general settings.
I have selected "Inherit from system settings".
You have "Match language". -

How 22:04 can be "дня"?These are two different files. Downloaded at different times of the day. Take a closer look.

I saw that.
Your system settings are just strange. -
it’s the return of the spambot
is it only me, or does the theme list take awfully long to render (possibly messing up other parts of the UI) every time one scrolls etc, with a lot of themes (i’ve got ~ 50)?
// edit: disabled most bg images & reduced to 25, it’s way way better.
-
@potmeklecbohdan You're not alone unfortunately. It happens to me too (I've got a lot of themes too).
disabled most bg images & reduced to 25, it’s way way better.
That's what I thought: too many themes break this new feature (at least, right now).
-
@hallker: To each their own. To me, the theme is just a visual thing and an afterthought to the core functionality of the browser (and with import/export being possible now, it'd be trivial to export it from one Vivaldi instance and import it into another); moreover I might intentionally prefer different themes across different OSes and/or desktop environments.
-
@killchain True. Ideally having something similar to VS Code where you can basically sync everything or actually decide to not sync certain things would be great. Would love to be able to sync my themes but maybe not which one is set to active would be real nice.
-
new disappointment: no more svg wallpapers (unless i’ve missed something) – but instead of letting me know it’s unsupported, it’s just silently ignored.
-
@potmeklecbohdan It’s listed in the faq, only
JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP
are supported. -
@potmeklecbohdan SVG can be a risk if it can contain scripts and load external content by f.ex. a embedded <img> element. As is know it is not easy to check and sanitize.
-
is it a already known bug, that the tabs of a two-rowed tabs group shrink to the favicon after a while (not directly after starting vivaldi)?
Win10 20H2
-
@luetage ah, rtfm; thanks for the reminder. having only these types enabled also in the file selection dialog would be better anyway.
@DoctorG gotcha. time for https://xkcd.com/927/ then
