Theme Sharing – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2482.13

@wpcoe: Oh, wait. This update simply changed to the default Vivaldi theme from the Dark theme I've been using. I switched back to Dark, and all is well in the world again. (But, boy, was that red a shock!)
-
@wpcoe: Dagnabit. There's still a honking red orb in the lower left on the Speed Dial background. Now to dig around to find how to set just a plain solid color background. Who decides that I would like these changes, anyways?
-
Wow! Thank you for this update. The Theme UI in the settings looks fantastic, and the website works pretty well too. Lots of stuff this build.
-
@wpcoe No one has an opinion that you would like one thing or another. This is an unsought side effect of re-writing the theming scheme. Some users got their themes reset. Vivaldi apologizes.
-
@guigirl It's Vivaldi. You may have both one thing and another.
-
Scrollbar is floating. Sorry for the big picture - next time smaller.

Btw, first page on OOBE is little bit not straightforward with Ad tracking. On all three options, Ad and Tracker Blocker are checked but on the next screen, it is asking select if one want to enable or disable Ad tracking.
Basically, according the first screen, it should not ask for enabling Ad tracker at all, because on all three options it is enabled. And if you still want to ask, then by default should be selected the "Block Trackers and Ads".
-
Btw2, you really should work on tab bar. I've posted video in june how *** is tab dragging. Here is new one, with absolute no improvement for almost 5 months for such basic thing of browser, which basicaly you messed up with introducing two layer tabs.
You are taking cursor position and not tab size for checking boundaries, when the tab should slide. That means, mouse travel distance is really big. And if you want to drag tab back, you need to slide mouse cursor almost two tabs back, which is ridiculous.
There is only ~10% of tab width where mouse can be released to not activate tab stack. Tab dragging must be done easily, just by peripheral looking on it. With current bad solution, one must look precisely where to put cursor to drag tab.

I barely had time to breathe. You know that feeling when you get home and someone leaves you a gift? This is me today. Thanks, it made my day!

Ok, this one's kind of a big deal for me personally. I am one of the admins of a small community, and I need to be able to do quite often using the desktop browser.
The bug is best tested by someone who uses Discord.
Only Vivaldi has the issue. It does not occur on Chromium. It does not occur on Firefox. It does occur since 2473.3. It does occur on Windows 7.
[VB-84350] When dragging a channel on Discord, a URL is dragged instead
URL where it occured: https://discord.com/app
Reproduction steps:
- Go to https://discord.com/app
- Log in.
- If you do not already own a server, we'll need to create one, because the bug occurs only for users who can manage a server's channels. Click on the + icon to add a server. To start from a template, click Gaming. Click 'For a club or community'. Click Create.
- In the newly created server, try to drag the #general channel to the bottom of the 'TEXT CHANNELS' category.
Expected result:
I should be able to drag the #general channel to the bottom of the 'TEXT CHANNELS' category.Actual result:
An upload pop-up appears on drag, if you release the drag, Discord will think you were trying to upload a file called general.url
It appears that the channel drag is interpreted as a URL drag. -
(did not read whole topic)
With this version, focused and unfocused window have almost no differences.
There was difference before in colors. So this is a regression which should be fixed. -
@hallker: Agree, although there are far more important things than themes; IMO syncing of keyboard shortcuts, mouse gestures and search engines should come before themes.
-
@killchain Well, while I do not use mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts and search engines do make sense to me more yes. Also panels. But to be honest I do set my themes before I set the rest of these... so maybe the importance is rather relative.

https://genius.com/Zhou-shen-rubia-lyrics -> almost instant "dead bird". Can anyone confirm? Or I am "lucky" again

-
@gif2d: Perhaps someone should look into the webcode, because the spoiler is actually auto opened on the blog page, so the flash is visible by default. And obviously the spoiler was added to prevent that.
-
@thot Here's my CSS fix.
/* Mail popup width fix */
.button-popup {
width: 420px !important;

works for me, but has a lot of advertising (if you try the page in a guest window)

Works here too, with Vivaldi's ad and tracker blocker. Blocker catches 37 trackers and 44 ads.
-
@vort Appears you are "lucky." No problems here.

Scheduled Theme is not applied without restarting Vivaldi, which makes it utterly useless.
