UI toggle/indicator to enable/disable keyboard shortcuts.

Suggestion
I'm looking for a UI toggle or at least an indicator that would enable and disable keyboard shortcuts (including
[Alt]
for menu and[Space]
for fast forward) as well as indicate the current state.Even better if it could be done on a per-tab or per-domain basis but that's only extra.
Rationale
Sometimes I need to disable shortcuts for a web app that has a colliding static input scheme. There is a dedicated shortcut I have bound to toggle them.
But at some point I invariably risk running into ambiguity as to whether the shortcuts are enabled or disabled at any given moment. As for the per-tab/per-domain distinction: there aren't that many web apps that conflict with browser shortcuts, so it would make sense to only disable them for those.

@erquint You should be able to edit the Title and Description yourself.
Disable Keyboard Shortcuts for Current Tab
I use Ctrl+Alt+K to toggle keyboard shortcuts. Yes, there is a command for it too, not just a checkbox in settings so there is not much need for it to be tab-specific. Just toggle them off whenever you want, then toggle them back on again when done editing on that page.
See Settings, Keyboard, Page, Disable Keyboard Shortcuts.

@pesala I was looking all over for that binding and couldn't ever find it. Thank you very much!
It's a bit jarring that I don't get any UI feedback to tell me which way I just toggled or what the current state is…As for renaming the topic, I'm just quite undecided on how much merit is in it at all. Thus I'm trying to delegate the decision onto the mods, honestly…

@erquint The shortcut is enough, but it’s true that there is no indication, other than to test it by trying out a shortcut. I believe a small symbol in the address bar would be enough. Just change the topic title to “Add indication for whether keyboard shortcuts are disabled in the UI” or something along those lines. Then people can actually start supporting this request.

@erquint If you're satisfied with the available option then this can be tagged as DONE and moved.
If you still think an option to disable shortcuts per tab is needed, then you should edit your first post to make it clear that is what the request is for.

@erquint
This is what it looks like extension "Keyboard Control for Chrome".
KCC is something I can't use, but...There are not enough shortcuts.
