"Downloads" like in Firefox or Opera

As much as I like Vivaldi, Downloads Panel is just not it. I thought I could get used to it but it just irritates me the more I use it. Please copy everything either from Firefox or Opera. Make a dedicated page in the settings like you have it for Bookmarks and such. Put Downloads button in the extension bar. Thank you.

@pokemn Bookmark vivaldi://downloads and add it to your Bookmarks Bar.

P.S. If you bookmark chrome://downloads instead you get a nice icon.

If space is an issue, assign a single-key shortcut such as "b" to show/hide the bookmarks bar.

Vivaldi will not be copying other browsers. It builds from the ground up. If you switch from a given browser, wanting something different, it is to be expected that the new browser will be...different.

That said, every convenience one is used to can be requested in the Feature Requests category, and is either already in the works or may eventually appear.

@pokemn You should vote for Open Download Manager in a separate tab and/or Downloads Button Popup, as this is a duplicate of them.

I for one being handicapped, find the downloads panel, helpful, and one of kind; not in order, you where the downloads are from, where the download source, your connection speed, time of download displayed, etc.
Being slightly paralyzed on my right side does not present a problem; I am not the only one who likes the download manager; others I know love it!
