Change the audio volume of a tab

I tried many plugins but none worked. I just want to adjust the volume of a tab. This would be so beneficial for many uses. I have the volume of the browser relatively high and iadjust the volume for every video player by the integrated slider, but many websites where there is no such slider are too loud for me.
