Move multiple tabs to a new window command if selected multiple tabs
-
Currently the Move tab to a new window keyboard command is pretty much useless, because the instances we need to move just ONE tab to new window is extremely rare. I mostly only use this command when testing browser GUI CSS mod, else I don't see any reason to use it.
I think we should expanding this keyboard command usefulness by allow it to move multiple tabs to a new window when we have selected multiple tabs on the tabbar or the windows panel (when focus on the windows panel) before execute the command.
Thanks for all the support.
EDIT: add "keyboard command" to clarify my request.

You can move multiple tabs to a new windows if you right-click the tab bar and choose "Move X Tabs to". Would make sense to also be able to do this via e.g. Quick Commands.

You can only speak for yourself.
The only time I move a tab to another window is to move one tab from a window on my primary monitor to a window on my secondary monitor. The keyboard shortcut cannot do this. The tab context menu already allows one to move all selected tabs to a chosen window.
If the command did move all selected tabs to one new window that might be an improvement, but then someone might want to move each selected tab to a separate new window. Someone has already requested for the command to move tabs to the next window.

IMHO keyboard command is must faster than context menu, thus I prefer select a bunch of tabs > execute keyboard shortcut > done!

That's what my request intended, as it doesn't conflict with moving only one tab to a new window. It's better than adding yet another keyboard command for moving multiple tabs.
but then someone might want to move each selected tab to a separate new window.
What's the use case for such command? Even if someone need this, it would be very rare indeed. Honestly I can't imagine why someone want to move 10 tabs into 10 separate windows... That's kinda overkill. If you want to do so with 2 or 3 tabs, then it's pretty easy to repeat it with keyboard command.

Totally agree with @dude99
"Move tab" quick command and tooltip is a feature I use everyday and I think the quick command should respect the selection of multiple tabs just like the tooltip does
