Option to add Time, Date and Website to "Capture Page"
-
As the title suggests I'd like to have the option to have time, date and the website where I made the "screenshot" added into the picture in one of the corners.
My use case is that I need to take screenshots for my work and archive them in case there are any complications later on. This feature would prevent me from a ton of pointless clicking around to get the dates together.(In an ideal case this would be combined with the general option to make the screenshots editable )

@zaibon If you could save the screenshot with the date and time as the filename as suggested here wouldn't that solve the problem?

@Pesala
Sadly no, as this archive stuff isn't for my private belongings. At the moment I work as a car expert for insurance companies to calculate repaircosts, hunting down insurance fraud (that's the fun part about this job ^^) and in cases where the car is still driveable but have a costly damage I need to evaluate how much the car would have been worth if the accident didn't happen.
One part of this work is to gather a ton of data online about how much it was worth on that special day a second before the accident happened (german law is very precise about that).
So I need some proof about where and when I made those researches.The funny thing is they don't accept this data when I just change the image name as I could have changed it to my likings and it wouldn't stand before a trial.
But when I change the image itself to add time, date and the source everybody is happy.... please don't ask me why it's just the way it is ^^TL;DR: Nope, but it still is a convenience thing
EDIT: @Pesala oh and sorry for wrong placement of this topic, I thought I did selected the "feature request section" before hitting the submit button, where did it ended up? Thanks for moving it though

@zaibon You put it in the right place, I thought it was a duplicate, then moved it back again.
The law is daft, you could just as easily put any date on the image itself. IrfanView would let you add a date and time stamp quite easily.
My intuition regarding adding image editing to the screenshot tool is that it is just creeping sophistication, so won't ever get done (never say "never").
It is better to use image tools for tasks like this. FastStone Capture does a lot, but even that does not have a date/time stamp option that I can see, though it does have sophisticated options for file naming.

@Pesala
I am already using ifranviews batch/converting tool for this to tag a bigger amount of pics at once but it would be more convenient if I could skip this step.
Of course I am aware of the fact that the possibility of this feature to be implemented is close to zero but who knows - if you don't try you can't win ; ) -
