Play sounds in inactive tab when explicitly asked, leaving other tabs muted

I have checked the option that mutes background tabs. This is very useful to counteract audio ads, rich web application sounds etc. But! When it comes to online radio such as Spotify, it should play sounds in the background. It would be great to be able to click unmute icon on a tab to make it explicitly play sounds, leaving all else muted.
Actually this nearly works. As I press that unmute icon I hear for a moment that tab's music playing but it doesn't stay so, it mutes back in a fraction of a second.

Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can add the website that you want to play audio (in the background) as a web panel.
