Access Screenshot Function from Addressbar
-
Hey guys,
I'd like to see a simple button to launch the action menu for screenshots from the address bar. Maybe controlled via options.
If you switch off the statusbar, there's no way to take screenshot unless you switch the statusbar back on. (or using the menu)
I think right next to the bookmark button would be fine.Besides that, keep up the great work.
Best regards,

If I understood correctly. you don't like The Capture Page at the bottom
-
@stanikki In the meantime you can associate keyboard shortcuts in settings to capture screenshots
-
Or perhaps use Notes.
-
@stanikki You can assign shortcuts. Search Settings for "Capture."
The only downside is that that route always saves images to PNG, while the Status Bar icon offers a choice of PNG or JPG.- Use PNG for text or pages that are mostly text
- Use JPG for photos or pages that are mostly photos
If you enable single-key shortcuts and assign "s" to show/hide the Status Bar it is never far away if you need to change image settings, webpage zoom, tab tiling, or capture images.
If you want to move the Capture Icon to the Address Bar, vote for the generic feature request to Configure Toolbars

I also have had in mind a time ago into the Resizable screen capture thread, that the bar address should show not only does the words to search, but other media means like sound or images. The first reason is only to show and remember to the user that alternate ways exists to search.

and another answer to this (more or less duplicate) topic: upvote for the custom toolbar -
@derday More or less a duplicate of the link that I posted above.
Definitely, configurable toolbars is the right way to go with this. No way could we get a consensus on where to place each button, and lots of checkboxes in Settings for stuff like this makes the application difficult to use and support.
I did not even know about the option to hide Fast Forward and Rewind buttons, and some users want to hide the Home button, etc.

Done.
