Option to Dock Bookmarks Bar in Horizontal Menu Bar
-
Hello all-
Brand new Vivaldi user here. Only a few minutes in, and I feel like I might be home. Thanks to the developers!
Anyone know if there's a way to position the bookmarks bar up alongside the menu items in the main menu bar? I always found that to be a good space saver in Firefox--see screenshot.
Failing that, do we think it might be a worthwhile enhancement suggestion?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Eric

There are already feature requests for both a bookmarks button and a bookmarks menu. I think either of those would solve the problem by saving space.

@ehm This can probably be handled by a custom modification to the browser. One advantage of Vivaldi is that the interface is built upon web technologies, so it's relatively easy to mess with it. I'm just not able to try it because I'm on osx, but you can ask for help here:

Thanks to both of you.
Anyone know how to add tags to a thread? And would there be a way to tag a thread like this one so it also appears in the feature request list? -
Try and edit your OP, maybe it's still possible. In the first post you can always add tags. And no, there is one feature request thread for each version, where all requests go. You are not supposed to have your own thread on the feature request forum board as it is now.

Ah, thanks, @luetage ! Hadn't tried the OP.
