Moving towards the final – RC 1

Does anyone notice windows (vivaldi windows, not the OS) becoming unresponsive very briefly after dragging a tab out to create a new window?
-
@LonM If I remember correctly this is an old bug -- has been fixed long ago. Strange you are having these issues again.
-
Can't download the offline file. Click and no download drop down menu.
The download panel shows nada, zilch in the way of the download.
I prefer to download offline file in case something goes wrong.Also where can I get the 64 bit snapshot? I am now on the 32 bit stream and I want to move to
the 64 bit stream. Nevermind...found it. (face plant). -
I really don't like the new icon......

@porcupine: I put up a test pc to run twitch with your specifications, and its been running for roughly 3 hours now with no crash/dead bird. So it seems likely that something local is causing your crashes, either the profile/hardware, if you manage to reproduce the issue with a fresh profile, that should narrow it down to hardware.
It should have crashed by now if it's gonna crash.
Here's my system specs:
nVidia gtx 1060 6Gb (drivers 382.53)
Intel haswell 4770k
Asus xonar dgx soundcard (drivers 7.0.8.1821)
16Gb ramDoes "C:\Users\porcupine\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data" contain all the data I need to backup my profile?
Edit: Did clean install without any backup data from old install (and no extensions installed). Looks like this fixed crash issues with twitch streams. It's been over hour now and no crash has happened so far. I'll post update if this issue comes back.
Thanks for your help. Keep up the good work with Vivaldi!

@porcupine Your entire profile is within User Data\Default
-
@Ayespy
Thanks! -
@nutcracker: No, mine and some other's too.
Thanks for fixing.
Now I hope that one day tab switching through tab stacks will work too (they simply are switched out of order).

[Win 10 64 bit; latest SS 32 bit; Screen 1: Windows-UI-Zoom: 175%; Screen 2: Windows-UI-Zoom: 100%; Vivaldi page zoom: 100%; Vivaldi UI zoom: 100%]
When dragging Vivaldi from screen 2 to screen 1 often the page adapts the zoom level automatically whereas the Vivaldi UI looks as if drawn without any zoom level whatsoever. Maybe that's a Windows bug.
But in addition pages are drawn as if my screen 1 was double the size -> Pages are cropped at the right side of the screen.
Dont't know when this bug appeared, but a few SS ago everything adopted fine when switching windows across screens ([Shift] [Win] [left/right arrow]). -
There seems to be a problem since some versions (I can't exactly nail it down to a specific update, but it's not that long ago that it was still working as expected) when highlighting a text in a private window, right clicking it and select "search for <selected text>". Since some versions this not only opens the search in a new private tab but additionally opens it in a new non-private tab.
Another thing I noticed is that sometimes the notification for a completed download shows the "old" (white on red) Vivaldi icon. Since the program now has the new "squicle" as program icon, I would expect that to be shown in notifications?!
In case it's important: I'm running the latest snapshot (x32) on a Win10 (x64) machine.

No tab rearranging after group-ungroup:
- Open 2 tabs
The order of the tabs can be changed by dragging - Group the 2 tabs
- Ungroup the tab group
- The 2 tabs can no longer be rearranged
W10 Home 64-bit, Vivaldi 1.11.917.22 (Official Build) (64-bit)
- Open 2 tabs
-
@S_Paternotte Confirmed with only two tabs, not with another tab stack already open.
-
@S_Paternotte Can't reproduce that here.
-
@Pesala Thanks for the confirmation.

I can't see how this was labeled as a release candidate when the facebook "slow audio bug" still exists.
-
@mtaki14 At the moment, Facebook is sending Vivaldi broken code. That's kind of tough to work around.
