Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but we had the same idea, so upvote maybe.Lol, I had forgotten that song already. I had to upvote this for cleverness sake.

Can't access www.kroger.com - tried a few times.
Edge had no issues.
Could it be just a glitch? -

Could it be just a glitch? It seems to work for me, I tried a couple of links, and apart it having some kinda weird redirection system I'm looking at a recipe in here

@iAN-CooG -their site is weird.
Could get to that link you sent but still a no go on their homepage. -
Recently I posted a problem below to the forum.
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/14836/dragging-a-thumbnail-of-speeddial-causes-incorrect-thumbnail-s-location
Surely my PCs don't have best performance, but I cannot think AMD A8-7600 (16GB RAM) and Core m5 6Y54 (8GB RAM) as poor performance.
I am still suspecting that it is a bug, may be thread-related one. -
I think this a potential regression:
A couple of snapshots ago, one of the fixes was changes to the spatial navigation... after that, I could browse airliners.net very easily using SHIFT+DOWN to highlight the next topic ICON - then use CTRL+ENTER to open the topic at the first unread post.
In the latest snapshot, the behaviour has reverted to how it was before; sometimes Vivaldi selects the topic icon, sometimes it selects the whole topic box (icon + thread title + other description). This is annoying since pressing CTRL+ENTER on the "whole topic" goes to the first page instead of the first unread post...
-
@Yuyu.K That worked, thanks! I wasn't too worried about it since it's a snapshot build but figured I'd get my voice in there confirming the issue. Glad to know there's a workaround though.

@Robi666 About the speed dial, the option for more columns is already there. There's no line option because there is no fixed number of lines: your bookmarks will fill each line up to its max capacity ("number of columns", fixed in the options) then start a new line until there are no more bookmarks to add.

After last weeks epic snapshot I thought I had died and gone to heaven and should not have the temerity to hope for anything more or better in the near future from Vivaldi - the Team obviously worked so hard on that; but alas, I'm now backsliding and hoping for more goodness from Team Awesome. What treat have they in store for us next?
-
@g_bartsch The goodness will most likely come in the form of polishing existing features and fixing as many stability issues as possible. Google will be building a Chrome/Chromium 57 release candidate tonight based on whatever changes get merged to the M57 branch by 5:00PM PST. After some final testing, Chrome/Chromium 57 will be released to the Stable channel in a few days. Then the clock starts ticking for a Vivaldi release.
-
Issue 1 : I couldn't even login to this comment section(on the blog page, not the forum) on Vivaldi itself, had to use Chrome. Clicking the Login button on Vivaldi(while already logged in on the forum but not on the blog) would essentially just refresh the page and do nothing more(works fine on the Forum, just not the Blog's comment section itself). This is a new issue ever since you've changed the look of the site. It has also been doing the same thing for a long time now when I try to comment on a website that uses Facebook's commenting system.
Issue 2 : Since this latest update, when Startup setting "Startup with..." is set to "last session", but last session didn't have a single tab open other than the speed dial, opening Vivaldi would result in the browser showing "vivaldi://newtab", which is google, instead of "vivaldi://startpage", which is the speed dial.

let the users rearrange the right-click context menu?
Already upvoted many times in Feature requests for 1.8 / 1.9:
Allow Editing of Menus

@ayespy: Read chat. Called KAS edited registry 4 items deleted and all worked.
-
@Dovelove: Read chat. I need the registry keys of those four entries.
-
Bookmarks in side bar will not show all folders ,used to show all folders in previous builds.
-
@trini: Works fine here. How does it not show all folders for you?
-
@Ayespy He went so fast >re-chatted on old I didn't catch them, sorry. Better than replacing drive and or/computer. He also stated if it works and is all I need why bother...agreed. Some are hooked on continual updates as in smartphone whether they need them or not. I'm tired of it. If I ever find time to edit videos family I'll get new. Half my programs probably wouldn't run on Win 10 and from what I hear its a pain in ass still. Wold go to Linux and that would take forever to re-learn.

Allow Editing of Menus
That is a big feature, which I think would be nice. But, I would think it would take a long time before it's implemented.
But our problem is now! I would like to ask the Vivaldi developers to change the order of the items now. The "Open Link" item should come last of the three "Open" options. All other browsers I have access to, have "Open Link in New Tab" as the topmost item of the context menu (Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome), which is part of the reason I'm not able to adapt to the Vivaldi's context menu.

However, Opera 12.17 has it as the topmost item, and most Vivaldi users were former Opera users. Jon, the Vivaldi founder, was the founder of Opera.
So, since it's impossible to please everyone, customisation is the best option. Spending any time changing things around is a complete waste of time — it will please some, but annoy others.

Hi Team,
nice progress you made there! Vivaldi is getting better and better. Thanks!
Some small issues I have (besides others that you are already aware of):- right click on web panel page: "Copy Page Adress" doesn't work
- still buggy date time selector (<input type="datetime-local">). I guess it's a chromium issue?
- page down gesture (for example) doesn't work on frames or on web panels
Happy coding. Cant't wait for a new SS!
