Option to top creating Folders on the Speed Dial page - Lock Page perhaps?
-
There is a feature on the Speed Dial page where you drag a bookmark and let it go on top of another, it creates a folder.
Its a slick feature for sure.. Unless you didn't want it to happen.. And then its really annoying reversing the change.
Unfortunately, I am doing this by accident several times per day and its annoying.
So could I request a feature to stop this from happening... I have 3 ideas:
- Open in settings to turn off Create Folder option
- Option to 'lock' the Speed Dial Screen.
- Option to "undo" so if you add a folder and move speed dials you can reverse it.
Whilst typing this, I think option 2 is a good idea.. Having a quick way to lock the screen makes sense, and then you can unlock it when you INTENTIONALLY want to make changes like this.

Hi, these are three requests.
I would vote for 1.
2. would lock to move speed dials around too.
3. It would be cool to have a global undo for everything, delete a Reading List, for example.Cheers, mib

I am starting to hate the Speeddial page because of this issue..
I seem to be doing this every single day. Its when I am doing 2 things at once (i.e talking) and I just find my hand rests on the screen and drags an entry into a folder.
I start with my Speed-Dial list being in alphabetical order.. But after making these folders and then dragging the bookmark out it just goes to the top of the list and I can't be bothered to re-order it again..
So after a few weeks, my Speed-dials are a collection of randomly ordered bookmarks mixed in with empty "new folders".
I would have happy just having a "lock" button on the speed-dial screen.. .. Just a toggle switch... When its locked, you can't move any bookmarks.. And when its unlocked you can...
Seems like a logical and obvious feature and I hope the devs can consider this.
