I don't know how old this possibility is, but the columns of the tree view can be hidden through r-click on their headers.

A related mod I use for the urlbar dropdown (but solid color, this time).

@valiowk Unfortunately, I am limited by what the chrome.management api offers.

It would be nice if there was a kind of "matrix" style dashboard for extensions where you could see everything in one screen, but alas, I don't think that would be possible in a mod.

@jumpsq It’s a matter of taste of course, but @Christoph142 came in here and claimed we are trying to solve issues that already have a solution, which is simply not true. Moreover, even if both worked the same way, a page action still has many advantages:

No additional running extension Ability to incorporate the page action in command chains Available through keyboard shortcuts, mouse gestures, menus, quick commands

The downside being that you need to load the page action on update. But this is the modding forum board, I’d expect people to already use a batch script.

@theimmersion If you use Vivaldi on more than one device, there's already a sync button besides the trash button. So that might not be the best place to move it. If you don't need the button to check your connection, I'd say just remove it with css.

Cool idea. After a bit of messing around here's what I came up with:

Keeps the one-line titles kinda centered without messing up the multi-line titles. Could probably still use a little tweaking/testing.

Also I use tabs on the side if that makes a difference.

I didn't test it, I don't use this mod, but I think the problem is that you also uncommented the Uncomment to enable, which breaks the code.

This is a great extension, but I get the same as xandork on the previous page - mostly "Could not get any links from tab". It works for a while, then fails, and continues to fail on any page until I open a new window, and the cycle restarts.

I thought it was about time that I updated my posts above with a more concise guide, as well as a long overdue update of what I've been actually using. Rather than using attribute selectors to make the button a draggable area, it now uses class selectos; much better imo. The fill attribute now also uses the more appropriate currentColor keyword (per the help page on this matter) to inherit theme colors, as opposed to inherit.

@Hadden89 Please update the JS hook for Vivaldi 3.6+.
