Vivaldi adds "outline-width: 0px !important; user-select: auto !important;" in the style attribute on its own

@durss see next post.

@durss I can not test, you as a app author the following does not help in your program to reset the user-select?
I was told:by adding a id, classname or element to the css rule.
#myid {
outline-width: 0px !important; user-select: auto !important;
}
Or
.myclassname {
}
Or something like that -
@DoctorG I tried everything i could think about including this with no luck.
Inlined styles have the highest priority which is what vivaldi does.
That's why i tried to overwrite the inline styles on any events i could think about but vivaldi always takes over mineThank you for your help
-
@durss I do not know how to solve it, and that is what a Vivaldi dev told me.
I disagree in injection of CSS inline styles with !important by browser, but that is was not my decision to add such feature in Vivaldi.
-
Yep only vivalvi devs can do something at this point I'm afraid.
I think the best solution would be that Vivaldi doesn't override the "user-select" if one is already declared inline on the link, this way devs could have a way to force the drag behavior.
In the meantime, i'll simply disable that feature for me -

Please report issue to Vivaldi bug tracker. Once that is done, share the bug number (beginning with VB-) you got by bug report mail. Thanks for helping us making Vivaldi better.
