and I doubt will work fine anymore.This mod manager works great. I’ve been using it for several years.
There are disadvantages, but uncritical. In general, more convenient than the Vivaldi staffing mechanism, especially since it allows you to connect not only css files, but also js files without problems. -

@kichrot You just need an update script. You can have both js and css files in the same folder. Only exception are page actions, which should be kept in a separate folder to load from there. Few use custom ones, however. Of course, nothing speaks against a program to do it for you, if you don’t want to code it, but you will be left stranded, if something changes.

When something changes, then I will think.
It’s much more convenient for me to use this mod manager. -
Anyone can confirm if this nice app is still working properly with JS patching? The last time I tried, it no longer work with JS since v5.6 update...
-
@dude99 I use it for apply 2 js mods at every update, and I'm updating often because I'm on the snapshot branch. Yes it works, for me.
-
@dude99 It works fine.

Hello, today I updated to Vivaldi version 6.4.3160.34.x64.
Apparently Vivaldi Mod Manager (0.2.5) doesn't work anymore.I cannot add files and if I tick the version box I get the error message you can see in the second screenshot.
Anybody else?
-
I stopped using it from some months because the js mods I was using don't work anymore since 6.2 snapshots, so, no use of reapplying them. I just use css mods so far so I can't tell.

If you replace
browser.html
withwindow.html
, it would work. -

@Steami I have the same.
-
@rafiki
It means to change"browser.html"
to"window.html"
in line #191 ofModManager.cs
.
Oh, I just checked and it looks like I need to change the contents of theToggleMods()
function in the same file. -

probably he refers to this:
But I use a compiled exe (VivaldiModManager.exe), therefore I don't know how to make use of yakn99925566 suggestion...
I am using VivaldiModManager.exe too. I have used the manager for years without any problems, until now. Unfortunately I don't have the know-how to go further with this.
