Abode no longer streams video

Hi, I went to bed at 9pm the other night after viewing my security camera streams on Abode web app. Got up the next morning at 7am and now Abode security cameras will no longer stream video, it just gives the Starting Stream message as the pic shows, guess I shouldn't have gone to sleep! LOL
Works on all other browsers. Abode has always been set as an exception and no site changes were made, in fact no changes were made! I have restarted my computer etc. to no avail. Interestingly it the cameras still stream on my wife's computer also running vivaldi and all settings the same, as have been.

I do not know if "Hide Players" work in media-internals page to clear old content. Ah, works

Now, open only 2 tabs, one with tab from vivaldi://media-internals (tell whats is shows for player) and other with the camera stream.
Start camera stream.
Select media-internals tab, click the one entry with the URL to camera, scroll down and then save log.

Can you tell section "Player Properties " the row "Info" and "KVideoTracks" in media-internals?

Since you're one of those users who (apparently) both use Adblockers and block 3rd-party cookies - you have double checked that these things are not the reason for the stream failing?

No blocking ads on your stream site
No blocking cookies on your stream site

Have you tested in a clean profile as per the troubleshooting steps linked in the reply by DocG above?

Are you able to temporarily share the URL for this stream (and change password after)?

Seems Vivaldi does not get a stream.

Could be a decoding issue of Vivaldi which uses some Windows codec.
Or any security software yo installed on Windows?

Is that a special website where you see your cam? Or a direct URL?
Please check if Vivaldi Blocker (click on shield in address field) blocks content.

Which Vivaldi version (see Vivaldi → About)?
Which Windows version?

Hi,

"Since you're one of those users who..." - I do not use ad blocker except for the vivaldi check box for abusive sites.
"you have double checked that these things are not the reason" - Yes, I have deselected these and others. FYI, I have set and confirmed that my wife's computer's settings are exacty the same as mine and it works on hers, and it also works on my laptop, same settings.
"Have you tested in a clean profile" - embarrassed face... oops, some how skipped right over that... did everything else, must have skipped it when I tried the next thing in line. I will try it.
the same answer as # two for the rest of your questions.

I think I better try the clean profile.... can't believe I missed that!

All versions the same on both computers, and the same update needed on both.

What is strange is, I was using the streaming just before I went to bed, computer (and I, LOL) fell asleep, in the morning woke up and streaming has not worked since.

In very rare cases, do not ask why, a uninstall and reinstall helps:

download installer for 6.0.2979.15 Stable
uninstall Vivaldi (without deletion of profile! by uninstaller) in Windows → Apps
install Vivaldi with 6.0.2979.15 installer

Any Internet Security Software tool installed which is able to monitor streams and connections? Perhaps the security tool is missing new Vivaldi versions and blocks stream.

How do you access the camera? By a special URL?

No added security, do have avast, but same with the other computers.
Yes, Abode has a web app I log into, same as the other computers.

I think I will eventually try the uninstall/reinstall, but I don't have time now so I would not be able to send results for a while.
If I never reply back to this, then please assume that worked, or I fell of the planet! LOL

But that does not means both avast installs act the same. A security tool can be the cause of such blocking.

You mean a website you open in Vivaldi? Or a single PWA (web app which starts as a Vivaldi window).
