Multiple picture-in-picture windows
-
hell0 every0ne,
I would like to have feature which allow multiple picture-in-picture windows ?
In case you didn't notice, we only can open 1 at once *(which is not g00d), if you open a second picture-in-picture window, the first one is replaced :sPlease upvote !
THANKS

@m0rgane Firefox supports this feature, & it's extremely handy.
-
I would really appreciate being able to have multiple picture-in-picture windows at once in Vivaldi! I hope this feature request gains traction.
-
Yes, I would love this. This is one of the reasons I'm still using Firefox.
-
I´m waiting for this feature, too.
-
Trying to switch from Firefox, but this is a roadblock to my progress. I use multiple popped out windows on a daily basis with Firefox, so this is a must have for me. I have looked for extensions but so far nothing that does multiple.

Dear, dear Vivaldi team, I'm utterly shattered, my world's falling apart, and I'm reduced to grovelin' before ya, humbly implorin' with all that's left in me, I'm on the verge of desperation here, so please, oh please, have mercy on this wretched soul and grant me this one request. I'm beggin' you from the depths of my heart. Could you please add this feature?
-
bump. big quality of life feature that is very much needed
-
@mlucky I don't get it. How does anyone watch two videos at once?
-
@Pesala My use case, when I'm using this feature in Firefox, is to simultaneously watch multiple streamers, and it's especially useful during group events. It's also particularly handy if you're keeping up with a developing story, you'll be able to keep up with every broadcast on one monitor. Having to compromise on just picking one streamer or news source just feels very unsatisfying granted you could always group stack and then use the tile feature but that's very janky so for those cases I usually swap to Firefox
-
@mlucky You don't need to stack the tabs; just tile them, which seems like a better solution than rearranging two or more PiP windows.
-
@PesalaI I implore you to try out the feature on Firefox and compare it to Tile to Grid; it's absolutely night and day. Not having to scroll up and down to find the perfect area that fits the video player is just so nice. Yes, you don't need to group stack tabs; that's just my personal preference, as it's very easy to simply close everything once I'm done watching or no longer need to watch.
-
This is a valid request, tiling tabs is not the same.
-
@ThirdGenerationAI I won't say anything as I support this feature request
-
Tiling tabs show multiple pages at some time, but when including all the content around the video and you cannot maximize video to fill one tile.
Multiple PIP will allow me to see just video in any size I want without any content around it. -

+1
I also miss this feature as a Firefox user.
Are there any news about this feature? -

I end up using this function a lot in Firefox, it would be great to have in Vivaldi, I wouldn't need to switch browsers every time I use the option.
