Wow, I was so sure this was a feature... before leaving the office for Xmas I saved a stack as a session to reopen at home (it was present ideas!), and it was nowhere to be found when I got at my home laptop!

It would seem so obvious to have...

Yeah, talk about syncing and automation 😃 I could also call my wife at home an read the URLs out for her 😃

@gryzor You could, but it would be a lot easier to unzip an archive.

Yes, but that does not answer the question. My issue is not how to get the URLs from here to there (It's easier to save the stack as bookmarks, then boom, it's synced, rather than moving files around) but how to sync them...

@jsumners Sync is under continuing development. Sessions potentially take up a huge amount of space on a server. An efficient solution for this has not yet been arrived at. Something like a list of URLs for saved sessions may eventually be incorporated.

It shows me the tabs I have open in other devices (as long as you have sync configured to synchronized tabs, of course). Still need to open them one by home, but at least they're somewhere to be found 😉

Hi, you can use "Open All" at the end of the pull down menu, you have to scroll down if you have a lot of tabs open.

                        Cheers, mib

Not really. There is an option at the bottom of each list of open tabs from another device to "open all." If you do this, it opens all of these tabs as a new session in a new window.

@mib2berlin @Ayespy Not sure I understood what you're trying to tell me...
@gryzor mentioned he grouped the tabs in a stack. When I try to open tabs from another device, I only see them grouped by window, from where I know there is an "Open them all" option at the bottom, yes. But I don't see any stack grouping - is there one?

(That being said, the stack could be moved to a new window before leaving to go home and the problem would be solved, yes. But since the original message talked about stacking them, I'm just trying to confirm if there's something that escaped me).

@pauloaguia You can't see stacks in the tab sync list. Tabs are there, but they don't show as having been stacked in that view. But when you "open all," everything is open as stacked, pinned, whatever status it was in on the original machine.

Sync is not immediate. It can take up to 15 minutes. So you could move the stack and get home, only to have it not appear. Just keep this in mind.

I would really much like to have my sessions be able to sync constantly. This is the idea from an app called Workona. The reason for syncing constantly is to not only be able to sync across devices but also constantly have the sessions up to date. It's kinda a hassle at the moment to just delete a session, and create a new session all over again lots of time. At the very least, you can have something like overwrite the session, but that it isn't there as well.

@hungtran8302 I would rather have something like "merge session" (or at least merge tabs) rather than overwrite session.
