How to add toggle panel button to panel?
-
There is only the download panel is useful to me (check status or check netspeed, etc.), so I'd like to keep panel hidden for better visual. Is there any way to add this toggle panelbutton to the panel? Or just change the setting button to toggle panel button....?

To what panel? You want to add a button that toggles sidebar to the sidebar itself? catch22 much?

@Kein He only uses the download panel, which can be set to open automatically on starting a download. The button (which is on the Status Bar by default) will hide the panel and the toolbar.
F4 or a mouse gesture could be used to hide the panels, but some users prefer a button.
Vote for Customisable Toolbars, but it might take a while to complete, so a mod is better for the OP.
With over 2,865 feature requests, and a small team, those needed by few users or difficult to implement may have to wait for a long time. Wherever you see that a feature is tagged as In Progress, it may get done this year rather than next.

I still fail to understand what exactly he wants, the button is already here then?

@AMebius I use a mouse gesture to show/hide the panels. Since my panels are on the right, I use GestureRight, GestureLeft.

Maybe I failure to described what I need, this why most people don't understand what I mean, but it doesn't matter anyway. I had tried auto hide CSS, but it doesn't suit me very well. Finally, I found the downloadpanel extension, a download button will be displayed in the extension bar after installation,. and Click this button to jump to vivaldi://downloads, I think I found what I really need is not a side panel toggle button, but a separate download panel!

You do not need to add any extension to open vivaldi://downloads. Just add a bookmark to it:
