Chromium update and status bar clock – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1843.5

Created an alarm for 23:16 (i.e. the current time; I didn't change anything), but the alarm was actually set to 15:44?
Also, this:

@rockemail: Reddit is broken too. Can't even use Twitter in Tweetdeck.
I am looking at my subscribed reddits right now in the default profile and I only had to hit Ctrl-F5 when one showed as unavailable, probably some hiccup, but so far works for me.
EDIT: ok ok, Ctrl-F5 is needed often when changing subreddits, something is broken indeed, often brings up "Sorry, for some reason reddit can't be reached." -
Noticed a few broken things and wanted to leave here quickly in case someone might be able to confirm:
- Twitter does not work (I see some people have already mentioned)
- Google drive: upload does not work.
- Gmail: hangout conversations does not work.
-
@paralaks The twitter bug is known. It's one of several breakages introduced by the Chromium 81 intake.
The other two you should read how to file a bug report and report them, as I don't think anyone at Vivaldi uses anything like Google Drive or Hangouts in the browser.

Picking up the "circles" topic from the comments for the last build (circles stand in for blocked ads), does anyone see circles (spinning circles, when animation is enabled) when looking at the same pages in other browsers which also block tracking, which these days is essentially all of them (Opera, Brave, Firefox, new Edge)?
Just curious. Because if the answer is "no," as it is for using something like uBO, then I think perhaps some CSS needs to be deployed to hide them. Yes, they're (somewhat) better than ads, but the feature is a half-measure.

@rseiler Tracker blocker is a work in progress. It's intended that it will be a full-fledged solution on a par with the various extensions on offer at least, and of course built right in to the browser.
-
@gwen-dragon: It does not solve anything
-
@daivy-merlijs I made it appear by right-clicking on an item in the Status Bar and selecting Customize, and from there, reset Toolbar to Default. This was necessary, as I have modified my Status Bar by moving items from it to other locations.

after shutting down my workstation and restart it today, my profile seems to be broken.
all tabs are lost, also speeddial (now I've the standard chrome speeddial page)
close vivaldi and rename Last session and Last Tabs to Current session and current Tabs do not help
any suggestions?Win10 1909 Vx64
€dit:
it seems different: vivaldi doesn't remember/save the last settings to the tabs start behaviour, no matter what I set. I switched from last session to speeddial but when I start vivaldi, I can see my speeddial for a millisecond and then opens the chrome startpage. -
Can I move the Clock to the Address Bar? I always hide the Status Bar.
-
@okaybadger
use SHIFT and drag'n'drop the clock to the left of the adressbar -
This is very useful to have a clock in the status bar, but what is still missing is a seconds display, like @luetage of its modification:
History Clock (keeping easter egg alive)

Some of my fav sites couldn't load e.g Transno.com, Workona extension. Just report here in case someone else have same issue.
-
@ayespy: Yes, I have also done that but it does not solve the problem.
Btw, I can't reorganize my web panels, too.
-
@gwen-dragon: I logged in these sites as usual until I update the lastest Snapshot yesterday. I don't think it happened because of my extensions.
-
@pesala:
Except if you have the speaker muted... -
@derday: I can confirm the same behavior but on win 7 64b.

There could be a conflict between an extension and this version of Vivaldi/Chromium causing it, though.

I hide the status bar. Wouldn't it be better if the alarm clock could be displayed alone under this setting?
