      Sometimes I unintentionally move some entries in the speed dial. Would be good to have an option to lock them in place that could be turned off when you want to move them or add more.

        I think a dedicated drag and drop button could help. So could only move the item if you grab it by this "move" button.

          There was an option in old Opera browser for locking speed dial... It was in advanced settings though. It could disable accidental movings, closings, refreshes...

              This should be the standard! Very helpful and convenient. I'd already locked my choices in mentally, now I just need it technically.

                In the latest Snapshot, Settings, Start Page, there is now a checkbox to disable "Allow drag and drop reordering" of speed dial thumbnails.
