Many sites, like YouTube, will allow you to add a search engine. Just right-click in the search field.

@gwen-dragon True, however i tend to not use yahoo at all, whereas i constantly want Youtube. That's why i preferred the reassignment.

This is one I've used quite a bit in the past as I often use YouTube for listening to music:

Instead of performing a normal search on YouTube it also applies the Playlist search filter.

The Acronymn Finder website is quite useful to have as a search engine.

I also deleted Yahoo and so use keyword "y" for YouTube.

I have a couple of dictionaries, and Wikipedia (w), which I use frequently.

I no longer use my search engine for Vivaldi Feature Requests, preferring to use a Web Panel for that.

If you add this link as a web panel you can easily search for other feature requests simply by changing the search string from "Search" to any other term. Enclose more than one word in quotes to search for a precise phrase.

Here are a few urls you might want to add in case you want to have search suggestions (maybe you'll need to turn this option on in Settings --> Search --> tick the box you like in "Allow Search Suggestions"

The list is not mine I copied it a while back and added a few urls myself - so no guarantee that all urls still work.
